St Mary's currently takes part in 2 events. The XC MTB Champs in March and Rip, Grip and Whip in September.

Waikato Bay of Plenty Schools XC MTB Champs

The event is a 3km cross country race predominately a Grade 2 track. Competitors must keep track of their own laps, year 5 and 6 will complete 2 laps.

St Mary's will not be providing supervision for this event. Parents will be responsible for transport and supervision of their child for the entirety of the event. We will need a parent volunteer to be responsible for all St Mary's registrations on the day and a volunteer marshal.

Who: Years 5 & 6
When: Wednesday 12th March 2025 (rain off day 13th March)
Where: Te Miro MTB Park, Waterworks Road, Te Miro
Cost: $25
Uniform: Riders are to wear the St Mary's PE top. Helmets and covered shoes are compulsory.
Equipment: Must supply own bike and gear. There is no water on site so you must bring your own to last the day.
Food: There will be a sausage sizzle and cans of drink for sale - cash only
