PTA

St Mary's Catholic School are lucky to have a very proactive PTA. Jenni McGowan-Devery currently fills the role of Chairperson. This group of willing helpers meet once a month.

St Mary's PTA caring committee (facilitated by the PTA and made up of St Mary's whānau), are here to help with meals all year around but especially during challenges times of illness and hardship. If you or someone you know wants our team to organise a cooked meal for drop off, or collection from the School Office, then please email our caring committee at stmaryspta@stmarysrotorua.school.nz

The PTA's major fundraising ventures are:
An annual school gala early each year
Weekly sausage sizzles on a Friday.
A number of evening discos during the year.

In addition, the PTA has in recent years also undertaken the following:
* Sale of gifts to children for Mother's Day and Father's Day
* Fundraising calendars, cards and diaries

New members are always welcome. Meeting times are advertised in the school newsletter.
