PLEASE NOTE: Grading games will be held the first few games of the season.

Yr 5-6 starts TBC

Yr 0-4 starts TBC

Touch Rugby remains an ever popular summer sport. Teams play six a side with up to 4 subs throughout the game.

All players are required to wear St Mary’s PE uniform and must wear sports shoes - NO sandals, bare feet or metal sprig boots.

Games are held at the Westbrook Fields (Devon St West, behind the Stadium). Game times range from 4pm-7pm depending on the weekly draw.

The fee for Term 1 TBC (was $35 in term1)

You must make payment at the school office or online when registering - no payment, no play!

Registrations close Tuesday the 10th of February 2026

Payment can be made at the School Office or via Online Banking - ANZ 06 0209 0229658 00 Please ensure you use your child’s name as reference and Touch Rugby as the code.

Please read your school newsletter every week, this is where important school notices go. The school newsletter is online, you can request to receive this via email on our School website https://www.stmarysrotorua.school.nz/

Please download our school app “St Mary’s Primary School” at google play store or apple store.

Click on the drop down menu and select settings. Here you can turn on notifications for app notices. Please select the appropriate year level for your child and the sports they play or intend to play. Sports notices will be put on the app from time to time eg. game cancellations, registration reminders and dates.
