Cricket Term 4 2022

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE - Friday 23rd September - Late entries can not be accepted. Fees must be paid by Thursday 29th September. No pay, no play.

SuperSmash Cricket (Years 0-3 approx.) – Thursday or Tuesday afternoons
• Run by Northern Districts Cricket, SuperSmash Cricket is best suited to children 5-8 years old
• Designed to help participants learn the basic skills of cricket (throw, catch, strike, etc).
• Cost is $35 for the 6-week programme - based at Smallbone Park.
• Mixed genders and all gear provided
• Children / parents can pick either Tuesday or Thursday afternoons to attend
• Tuesdays from 1st Nov to 6 Dec, Thursdays from 3rd Nov to 8th Dec.
• Children register as individuals

Incrediball Cricket (Years 4-6 approx.) – Thursday afternoons
• Incrediball is a modified game of cricket using a soft ball / plastic gear. Its suited for children
who understand the basics of cricket o have reasonably developed hand-eye coordination.
• Games held Thursday, 3.45pm till 5pm (approx.) at Smallbone Park, Devon Street.
• Starts on 3rd November through until 15th December
• Costs for Incrediball is $35 per player
• Incrediball teams are required to have a coach and someone to score / umpire
• Mixed genders and all equipment is provided.
• Schools ideally register a whole ‘team’.

Girls-only Incrediball (Years 5-8) - Thursday evenings
• Girls only – for Years 5-8. $35 per player
• Soft bats, soft balls – all gear provided
• A focus on coaching, skills development which builds towards games
• 5pm – 6pm at Smallbone Park, Devon Street.
• 6-week programme starting on 3rd November to 8th December
• Children register as individuals

Harrow Hardball Cricket – (Ages 8-11 approx.) - Saturday Mornings
• Hard cricket ball, wooden bats and protective (helmets, gloves, batting pads etc) are to be
used, along with a hard cricket ball.
• Hardball teams are 8-aside, mixed gender
• Will begin on 29th Oct until 17th Dec and resume in late Jan 2023 (final dates tbc)
• Players are to remain their Term 4 ‘grade’ / team for the duration of the season.
• The cost for hardball cricket is $70 per player for the whole season
• Teams are required to have a coach and someone to score / umpire.
• Schools/Clubs ideally register a ‘team’.
• Games start at 9am and are played in either Rotorua and occasionally Tokoroa, Taupo or


For all year levels is the School PE top & shorts. Hardball can choose to wear cricket whites (pants only). Our School Uniform shop is open Monday & Friday 8.30-9.00am and Wednesday 2.30-3.00pm or click HERE to view/order uniform online.
