St Mary's Catholic School are lucky to have a very proactive PTA. This group of willing helpers meet once a month and are very ably led by their chairperson, Lee-Anne Clayton.
The PTA's major fundraising ventures are:
An annual school gala in early March
Weekly sausage sizzles on a Friday
A number of evening discos during the school year
In addition the PTA have in recent years also undertaken the following:
Sale of gifts to children for Mother's Day and Father's Day
Sale of sunblock
Fundraising calendars, cards and diaries
Hospitality for both school events (eg morning tea for Grandparents Day) and meals for families who need extra assistance due to situations such as ill health or bereavement
