Be Ready for School

It is helpful if your child:

• knows his/her full name, address and phone number
• puts away equipment after use
• is able to tie shoe laces
• knows how to use a handkerchief and always has one
• knows how to carry scissors and how to use them
• knows how to sit and listen to a story
• recognises his/her written name
• looks after his/her own belongings and respects that of others
